Meet the Director

Miss LeAnne and Josh the brussels

With over 25 years of experience teaching dance in Beaufort County, LeAnne Jones-Braly — known to her students as Miss LeAnne — is passionate about helping every child grow in confidence, discipline, and joy through dance.

A graduate of East Carolina University, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Dance; Magna Cum Laude. Originally from Washington, she returned home to open Dance Works Performing Arts Center and share her love of dance with the next generation.

Miss LeAnne was the first NC Certified Dance Teacher in the Beaufort County School System, teaching at Northside High School from 1995–2001. Many of her former students have gone on to pursue careers in dance, earning degrees in both dance education and performance.

Parents love Dance Works because every child is supported, encouraged, and given the confidence to succeed — both on and off the stage.

At Dance Works, Miss LeAnne is dedicated to helping every student build confidence, poise, and skill while developing a lifelong love of dance.
